Tubberclair achieved Under 15 Féile success on Saturday last emerging victorious in a closely contested Division 3 final played at Fr O’Growney Park, Rosemount.
In the opening encounter, Tubberclair played Miltownpass where after a sluggish start, a five point win was achieved. Defeat to St Michaels in game two proved a minor setback, as a place in the final had been earned, Delvin/St Pauls providing the showpiece fixture opposition.
Keenly contested throughout, Tubberclair merited their victory upon the shrill of the final whistle and will now represent Westmeath at the national Féile finals in June.
