Have you got it?

Athlone Towncentre, in association with i105-107 and Catwalk Modelling Agency, are on the search for the next big thing in the Midlands!

This week saw the launch of the Midlands’ Next Top Model campaign with Keith Walsh from i105-107 Breakfast with Bernard & Keith and Mandy Maher from Catwalk Modelling Agency.

Open casting sessions will be held this Saturday May 30 from 2-5pm in Athlone Towncentre. The panel of judges will include Mandy Maher and former Miss Ireland, model Linda Duffy. Keith Walsh from i105-107 will also be on hand for the afternoon to oversee proceedings and to scout the malls for potential candidates.

The competition is open to both males and females, over 16, of all shapes and sizes, and no upper age limit applies. At the open casting session, contestants will have the opportunity to strut their stuff on the catwalk in front of the judges. Contestants with potential will have a brief interview with the judges before getting involved in a photoshoot by Warren Mulvey of Symphony Visuals.

To keep participants and shoppers entertained for the afternoon there will also be a live broadcast in the mall by i105-107.

A panel of finalists will be chosen from the open casting session to go forward to compete in the grand finale, which is part of the Athlone Towncentre Fashion Extravaganza on June 13 with live catwalk shows showcasing all the latest summer trends from leading brands in Athlone Towncentre. The selected finalists will hit the runway for the fashion show in the centre at 12pm, 2pm, and again at 4pm, with the winner being selected after the 4pm show.

The overall winner will receive a €1,000 shopping spree in Athlone Towncentre plus a 12-month contract with Catwalk Modelling Agency. There will also be great runner-up prizes on offer.
