The Live Room are pleased to announce a return to Irish shores this month with a new self title EP in hand.
Originally from Mullingar and now residing in Sydney with one other Sydney sider.
The Live Room previously toured their debut album over 15 dates across Ireland in autumn 05.
Three national and two international tours since their debut the band, which now consists of a new line-up and a more edgier guitar driven sound, recorded their new material over 18 months
The EP will be performed at their only announced Irish show so far at The Stables, Mullingar on Sunday May 31 with some extra special guests.
The band have also signed a publishing deal with Rough Cut music, Australia's premier music publisher. This has allowed the band to set up their own recording and rehearsal studio, based in the Sydney suberbs, which is now a hive of activity allowing local musicians to record and rehearse together.
The lads have recruited two friends from Mullingar to join them on the night. On drums Dave Kelly, veteran sticksman, whose solid drumming will set the pace on the night and on guitar Declan Murray, no stranger to The Stables will provide guitar duties.
The new EP will be on sale on the night. Support will come from local act Seven Days.
