The Moate Golf CLub 2022 season officially commenced on Sunday last with the Captains Drive-In Scramble.
In total, 100 players graced the fairways in glorious sunshine which quickly burned off the early morning frost. It was fantastic to see the car park full and many joined the Captains in the Par 3 Restaurant afterwards where men’s Captain Sean Dunne, Lady Captain Joan Molloy and Men’s President Frank Kiernan all afforded compliments to the crowd and the course staff.
Future Competitions
The first of the club’s 18 hole competitions will start this weekend. In addition, the Seery’s Cash & Carry Winter League Final is on Sunday, the tee times have been allocated on the BRS and those players can also play in the club 18 hole competition. There is also a Club Voucher 13 hole competition in place until March 13.
