With the incessant scenes of despair and destruction giving cause for communities to unite in support of the Ukraine nation, prominent local business, Ganly’s of Athlone, will donate the profits from all sales in store on Saturday, March 5, at their Roscommon Road base, to the Red Cross Ukrainian Appeal.
General Manager, Pauline Irwin, is encouraging members of the local community to shop in store this Saturday and support the Ukraine cause.
“Please shop in Ganly’s of Athlone this Saturday, March 5, as all profits from the day will be donated to the Red Cross Ukrainian Appeal.
“Ganly’s of Athlone will cover all overheads from the day, ensuring that all profits, without any deductions, make it to the Red Cross Ukrainian Appeal. This is your chance to do something to contribute to this worthy fund.
“This is a genuine appeal to raise much needed funds for a country facing the most horrific immediate future.
