A new senior football management team has been installed at Garrycastle following the departure of Gary Dolan and John Keane from their respective roles.
Former Longford manager, Denis Connerton, has been appointed manager of the club, who tasted county final defeat in November following a replay with St Lomans.
Connerton will be assisted by former Galway footballer, John Donnellan, in a coaching capacity. Donnellan has previous experience of the Westmeath senior football championship having managed Castledaly.
Graeme Corcoran, who manages the Garrycastle junior footballers, will act as selector for the forthcoming season which is expected to commence at the end of February.
