Over 45 years ‘a growing’ at perennially popular Fernhill Garden Centre Athlone

To celebrate the launch of Fernhill’s renowned Christmas store and to mark the completion of a major expansion and renovation project, the Reid family recently celebrated with family and neighbours, inviting their very first customer, neighbour Michael Cleary, to cut the ribbon on the brand new Fernhill and the amazing Christmas Store.

The occasion also marked the arrival of Dubarry Ireland to Fernhill with the launch of a fabulous Dubarry womenswear store.

To protect the well-being of staff members and customers, this year’s launch event was a low key occasion held in accordance with Covid-19 guidelines

Many of Fernhill’s Irish giftware and art suppliers also were in-store over the weekend to support the launch of the Christmas store.

Fernhill has grown to be one of Ireland’s leading destination garden centres and lifestyle stores and is also home to the Savoury Fare restaurant at Fernhill, owned by the well known duo Des Hennelly and Rory Currid.

With plenty of convenient free parking and easy, ‘traffic free access’ just off the Athlone bypass, in one journey you can buy your Christmas tree, lights and decorations, enjoy a spot of stress free festive shopping and take time together over lunch or tempting hot chocolate at Savoury Fare. Here too, you will find a vast selection of delicious, home made produce, hampers of goodies and festive treats.

A fabulous festive draw is running in-store until December 15 with an amazing array of prizes to be won by lucky customers, including a Weber BBQ and cover, just in time to BBQ the Christmas turkey.

Fernhill Garden Centre and Savoury Fare at Fernhill are open every day until Christmas.

A wide selection of Christmas store items and giftware is also available online at www.fernhill.ie
