Arguably one of the finest footballers to don the primrose and blue of Roscommon, Frankie Dolan, hosts the formal launch of his autobiography, ‘Outside of the Right’, in the surrounds of St Brigid’s GAA Club, on Saturday, June 12, with throw in at 6pm.
Written by Dan Dooner, ‘Outside of the Right’, which has received critical acclaim following its recent publication, narrates the life of the mercurial corner forward both on and off the pitch.
Laden with natural talent, Frankie was a gifted forward, a source of much heartache for defenders at both club and intercounty levels, achieving the pinnacle of his playing career in 2013 when he kicked the winning point in the All-Ireland club final for St Brigids. He would later manage the progressive South Roscommon club to three senior club county titles.
A must read for all GAA supporters, ‘Outside of the Right’, will be formally launched by guest of honour, John O’Mahony.
