Castledaly Tidy Towns committee will host their second community clean-up of the year on Saturday, June 5, with intending participants encouraged to meet at the community centre at 10.30am.
Volunteers are requested to bring their own brushes, shovels and relevant clean-up implements.
Local Fine Gael Councillor and Chairman of Castledaly Tidy Towns committee, John Dolan, is expecting a large turnout as was the case for the first community clean-up occasion.
“We had a great turnout for our last clean-up in May and we are hoping for a good number of people next Saturday.
“We will have refreshments outside the community centre after the event and we look forward to a great occasion at the weekend,” Cllr Dolan enthused.
