Castledaly tidy towns are preparing to host the first community clean up of the year on Saturday, May 1, with those intending participants requested to meet at the local community centre at 10am.
“We are asking those living in Castledaly who can spare an hour or two to come along and help to clean up our community on Saturday, May 1, at 10am.
“We had a number of very successful clean-ups last year and this is the first one of 2021. We will be asking everyone to observe social distancing and obey the Covid-19 regulations while taking part.
“We hope to have some light refreshments available in the open air when we are finished. I am hoping to see a prevalent community spirit on the day and look forward to having a chat and a cup of tea after,” Cllr Dolan concluded.
