As the national feast day fast approaches, a number of Athlone businesses have united to sponsor a virtual St Patrick’s Day Music Festival.
To be streamed from 4pm to 10pm on the @QuinnAVAthlone Facebook page, the six hours of live music will feature local talented artists, Colin Fahy, Steve Brennan, Gerry Flynn, Desmond O Neill, Eric Nugent, Brenda OHanlon McMonagle, Ellen Costello and Co, and Ian Deery.
Sponsored by Quinn AV, Shamrock Lodge Hotel, Depict Media, myITdepartment and Athlone Community Radio, the live music event aims to raise much needed funds for the Esker House Domestic Abuse Support Service which provides temporary safe accommodation for women and their children experiencing domestic abuse.
