The need for shelters at bus stops in Monksland and Bealnamullia has been highlighted by Fine Gael Cllr. John Naughten.
“The need for bus shelters in the area has been raised with me by a number of people who regularly use the bus service in the area. The shelters are particularly important at this time of year when people may be waiting for a bus in wet weather.
“I have sought an update from Roscommon County Council in relation to the provision of shelters at the bus stops in both Monksland and Bealnamulla,” Cllr Naughten asserted.
The issue is to be raised by Cllr. Naughten at a meeting of Roscommon County Council’s Athlone Municipal District where he is seeking an update on the matter from Transport for Ireland.
