Hot Yoga Athlone offers free online classes to dedicated frontline workers

As frontline workers persist with heightened levels of dedication and commitment amid the Covid-19 pandemic, Hot Yoga Athlone is offering free online classes in recognition of their continuous work in such extenuating circumstances.

Speaking this week to the Athlone Advertiser, Tricia Fleming, Proprietor, Hot Yoga Athlone, praised the ongoing work ethos of all those on the frontline with the free online classes an appreciation of their continuous dedication and commitment within difficult surrounds.

“Hot Yoga Athlone recognise the long hours and hard work that frontline workers have put in throughout the pandemic. They put their own health on the line for the sake of others, and it is time to show our appreciation.

“We are offering all healthcare workers, members of An Garda Síochána and the fire brigade service access to three free online yoga classes. The hot yoga classes are known for their physical and emotional healing benefits and are ideal for those with sore backs, injuries, stress, anxiety and more.

“It is the least we can do to help and support all of these hard workers, especially given how tough the last few weeks have been.

“We have had an amazing response so far since launching the offer on Friday last. The main reasons people are saying they need it is for back pain and mental stress. This shows how much our frontline workers need to be looked after both mentally and physically,” Tricia commented.

Hot Yoga Athlone is a dedicated, purpose built hot yoga studio owned and run by Tricia Fleming and centrally located in Athlone. Tricia trained to become a hot yoga teacher in 2002 and she has been teaching hot yoga throughout Ireland and as far afield as Thailand and South Africa since 2003.

Practiced correctly, hot yoga is proven to have a profound healing power on the body and is known to considerably reduce the possibility of injury and illness due to its systematic working of the body, inside and out.
