Roscommon County Youth Theatre (RCYT ) will recommence a series of online workshops from Saturday, January 30.
Catering for two age groups (11 and 12 year old children ) and those aged from 13 to 20, the weekly drama, theatre and performance workshops are certain to virtually appeal to a wealth of enthusiastic participants in the coming times.
The 11-12 year old workshop class is suitable for children who may or may not have any drama experience and would like to indulge in a new online experience. You can expect, fun, laughter, games, making new friends, lots of special guests and a plethora of opportunities to play and perform.
RCYT weekly workshops for those aged from 13-20 years will also recommence on the same day and new members welcome for both age categories.
There will be musical theatre workshops with highly accomplished directors and choreographers, introduction to screen auditions and commercial casting by veterans with thirty plus years of experience. There will also be a focus on role-play, improvisation, physical theatre, voice work, creative writing and film.
The perennially popular ‘A Conversation with...’ series will also return during the workshop series of events.

Workshops times are Saturdays 10am-11am (11-12 years group ) and Saturdays 11.15am-12.45pm (13-20 years group ).
The workshop term time runs from January 30 until May 29 2021 with a charge of €100 for the duration.
