Castledaly Tidy Towns committee seeking planter project initiative sponsorship

Castledaly Tidy towns are striving to replace the various planters within the picturesque village in the coming times and are seeking financial sponsorship assistance from local businesses and members of the community to progress the project.

“Castledaly Tidy Towns have received a grant from Westmeath County Council towards the cost of replacing the existing planters. The old planters have started to show their years and now need to be replaced. We have sourced new planters which are made from recycled plastic and will look much better than those which will be replaced.

“We are asking for those who wish to sponsor a planter for a contribution of €100 towards its cost and further finance towards the planting of flowers. The sponsor will have their name inscribed on the planter in acknowledgement of their contribution.

“Those who wish to sponsor a planter can contact any member of the committee with whom they can discuss the project,” Cllr Dolan stated.

The planters will cost Castledaly Tidy Towns €175 for which €100 sponsorship is required. For additional information in this regard, those who ish to afford sponsorship to the planter project can email [email protected].
