For the sixth consecutive year, credit unions have been recognised as the best in customer service experience, a survey conducted by Amarách Research on behalf of The CX Company recently revealed.
Such an outcome serves to detail the positive impact the presence of a credit union within a community entails and reflecting upon the results of the survey, a prominent feature which Michael Evans, CEO, Athlone Credit Union, reflected upon this week.
"In its essence, Athlone Credit Union is formed by members for members and that is the ethos which we maintain consistently. We must always strive to cater for the needs of our members," Michael asserted.
Having opened a state-of-the-art office at Irishtown Central in June, Michael has noted that credit union membership continues to rise with the facilities within the new location allowing for more custom on a daily basis.
"We were fortunate to open our new office at Irishtown Central in the heart of Athlone as the country emerged from its initial lockdown and this state-of-the-art building can now cater for up to ten persons allowing for adherence to social distance measures.
"It is a bright and spacious office and being central in its town location, it is a state-of-the-art facility which our increasing membership deserves," Michael commented.
Noting that the credit union will continue to remain open amid the present Level 5 restrictions, Michael stated that the diligent traits prevalent amongst his colleagues will assure members financial requirements are catered for during the coming times.
"We will continue to serve our members at our offices in Athlone and Monksland in the coming times as Level 5 restrictions persist.
"Members are advised that our online service is readily available to assist with all financial queries, but should the need arise, they are welcome to visit their local credit union office where my colleagues are available to meet with them," Michael added.
Both Athlone and Monksland credit union offices are open from Monday-Thursday (9.30-5.00 ), Friday (10.00-7.00 ) and on Saturday (10.00-2.00pm ).
