The Combined Counties Football League (CCFL ), which provides for adult and youth football in the Midlands region, has united with The Mobility Shop to launch the Irish Nursing Homes appeal.
This is an opportunity for football clubs across the Midlands to work with the league to help the wonderful front line healthcare staff who are doing so much to assist the most vulnerable personnel in local communities at this time.
Clubs from the league have been invited to make a minimum contribution of €50 each and the donations will be then matched by both the CCFL and The Mobility Shop.
The funds raised will be used to purchase much needed PPE for local nursing homes.
Donations can be made by clubs and club members to the CCFL account until Friday, May 18. Any members of the public who wish to donate to the cause are also welcome to do so, with all club and individual contributions to be acknowledged.
