The Athlone Choral Society (ACS ) will present a musical evening on Sunday April 26 at 8pm in the Radisson Hotel, Athlone.
The performance will feature extracts from the choral work ‘Requiem’ by Gabriel Fauré with soloists Eoin Leahy and Breda O’Connor and accompanied by organist Darren Lane and violinist Una McLoughlin. The choir will also perform several other pieces, as will the soloists.
Musical director of the choir is Sr Maura Fay.
ACS has always enjoyed great support for their performances. Profits from ticket sales will be distributed amongst local charities and they thus appeal for support for this concert.
Tickets priced at €15 are available from the Radisson and at the door on the night.
