Having attained a wealth of experience in a variety of treatment settings to include residential addiction centres and community–based organisations, Marie is highly qualified within the counselling realm having graduated with a Diploma in Drugs Counselling and Intervention Skills in UCD followed by a (1st Class Hons ) Degree in Counselling and Addiction Studies in the Irish College of Humanities and Applied Sciences, (ICHAS ) Limerick.
An accredited member of Addiction Counsellors of Ireland (ACI ) who strictly adheres to the professional code of practise, Marie strongly believes in self empowerment.
“I am not a fixer and do not have all the answers but I may have a few suggestions and will definitely walk the walk with each person that seeks help from me. I believe we are all born with the potential for growth and a capacity to embrace change,” Marie believes.
