A competitive and fun night is guaranteed at the Monksland United sports quiz to take place in the Prince of Wales Hotel on Wednesday, February 26.
Your memory will be challenged as questions pertaining to past sporting glories from around the globe, and also, closer to home in Ireland are posed. The quiz will cover legends of many games, old and new. So, if you love your Summer Olympics or Fifa World Cups, this could be the chance for you to get amongst the prizes. Whether you are a soccer fan who loves screaming at the TV from the couch or a sprightly basketball lover, everyone is in with a chance at this Big Sports Quiz.
Teams of four or five are welcome on the evening and will be well looked after with half time refreshments to keep up that brain power. This could be the ideal chance to catch up with your sporty friends over a drink or a bite to eat.
Get studying and test yourself against the rest of the towns sport enthusiasts. You could end up in first place on the podium at the end of the evening. Don’t be shy, come out and support a local sporting organisation. Your participation would be greatly appreciated. There will also be a raffle on the night with all proceeds also going to support the club.
Doors are open to all quizzers at 7pm with the quiz kicking off at 7.30pm. Tables are priced at €10 per head.
