Bank of Scotland (Ireland) appoints Lorcan Sleator as deposits manager for the Midlands

Bank of Scotland (Ireland ) has announced the appointment of Lorcan Sleator to the position of deposits manager in the Midlands.

 The expansion of the deposits team has led to a number of regional sales manager appointments across the country. Lorcan, a native of Mullingar, will work under the direction of Pauline Nally, senior manager - regional deposits. He will lead deposit sales throughout the Midlands offering a range of tailored, competitively priced products.

 Lorcan joined Bank of Scotland (Ireland ) in 2006 in the role of branch manager of the Halifax branch in Mullingar. Prior to this he worked with EMI Records in London as chief accountant. Lorcan originally trained as a chartered accountant with Arthur Andersen in the UK where he worked for six years. He has a range of experience having worked in finance for 14 years.

 Commenting on Lorcan’s appointment Jimmy Doyle, divisional director - deposits, Bank of Scotland (Ireland ) said: “I am delighted with Lorcan’s appointment. Having managed the Halifax branch in Mullingar, he is well placed to lead deposit sales activity throughout the Midlands and I am confident that he can develop and grow our business in the region.”
