An Athlone man and employee of the quality home care provider, Comfort Keepers, has won the company’s ‘Support Function of the Year 2019’ award.
Vlad O’Neal, who works at Comfort Keepers’ Midlands branch office in Tullamore, has been recognised by Comfort Keepers, and his peers and colleagues, for his dedication and day-to-day support of employee needs.
O’Neal, received the award at the Comfort Keepers CK Stars awards gala in Kilashee House Hotel on Friday evening last, an event which was hosted by RTE presenter, Dáithí Ó Sé.
Comfort Keepers has delivered care to almost 4,000 people across the county this year.
Upon receiving his award, Vlad O’Neal, remarked, “I feel very honoured and I’m very appreciative of the recognition for the support role I play to help and support our carers on the ground, and to ensure they are equipped to deliver great care to our clients in their homes. It’s a little piece of a big picture that really makes a difference.”

Comfort Keepers was established in 2005 and today it provides care and support to families and communities across Athlone.
