Temple Spa in Horseleap, Moate, will be the location for an innovative fertility retreat in October, offering hope to women and their partners who are having difficulty conceiving.
Dublin-based Deborah Corradino who has been treating and counselling Irish women with fertility problems will hold her first retreat entitled 'Fertile Ground' at the Moate spa between October 17 and 19.
'Fertile Ground' is a concept that offers a woman access to alternatives to the standard Western medical approach to infertility treatment. Whether a woman is trying to conceive naturally or undergoing assisted reproductive methods, the retreat will help to empower her to enhance her own fertility.
The retreat will offer a time for healing, nurturing, learning and experiencing complementary approaches to enhance fertility. It will include fertility yoga sessions, lectures on Chinese medicine and nutrition, Chinese medicine consultation with individual diagnoses and acupuncture sessions, in addition to time to relax, unwind, and be pampered.
The Temple Spa retreat costs €500 per person sharing, if it is booked by September 15, and €550 per person sharing, if booked after that date. Participants may be accompanied by their partners at a cost of €400. Partners will be able to participate in most of the retreat including yoga classes, evening relaxation and meditation and can attend lectures and have acupuncture treatments.
The cost of the retreat includes two nights accommodation and healthy breakfasts, two healthy organic meals, morning meditation and fertility yoga classes, afternoon lectures on Chinese medicine and nutrition, including individual diagnoses and treatment plans, evening breathwork and relaxation classes, two fertility acupuncture treatments and unlimited use of the Vitality Spa and sauna. The price does not include lunch or spa treatments. For more information log on to www.deborahcorradino.com
