LEO Westmeath branch to host free business lunchtime seminar

Local Enterprise Office Westmeath is hosting a free lunchtime seminar entitled ‘Top Tips for Developing a Website for your business’. This seminar is aimed at entrepreneurs and small business owners and will take place in the Shamrock Lodge Hotel, Athlone from 12.30pm-2pm on Tuesday September 17, with refreshments served after the talk.

Guest speaker at the event will be Stephen Kearney, who will deliver a talk on websites and digital marketing for the start-up including advice on the following topics - questions to ask your web designer; understanding optimising for search engines; paid for advertising to promote your website; the role of social media in your promotional activities and planning your website and measuring success

Stephen is a highly accomplished Marketeer, Mentor, and Consultant who specializes in assisting those who are making the transition from the initial stages of start-up to becoming well established entrepreneurs. He has a degree and postgraduate qualifications in Business Studies & Marketing specialising in Digital marketing and e-Commerce along with over sixteen years of experience both with a large Irish Multinational and in his own business.

Stephen has worked in the private sector for large multinational brands leading marketing campaigns to achieve results, he is a manager with vast practical experience and qualification who had a demonstrated track record of building and establishing strong sales campaigns which achieves profitable results.

A representative from the Local Enterprise Office Westmeath will also be discussing grants and other LEO supports available to small businesses in Westmeath to help boost your online trading presence.
