The gala finals of Miss Club S 2009 took place last Saturday April 4, living up to the excitement the contest has been generating since the heats began in January.
All 12 finalists looked fabulous on the night, which began in the upstairs bar of Club S. The girls and their guests enjoyed cocktails and food while being interviewed by the judges, while former Eurostar contestant Colin Fahy entertained the crowd in the main bar.
The judging panel consisted of former Westmeath Rose Edel O’Connor, Angela McCormack of AR Consultants and event managing, photographer Warren Mulvey, and former Rose of Tralee escorts Gordan Ward and Enda Carey.
Aine Fitzpatrick was crowned Miss Club S 2009, winning a holiday for two in Tenerife and a day of relaxing spa treatments at the lavish Temple Country Retreat and Spa, as well as three months free admission to Club S.
In second place, Nadia Kopacova won a voucher for Vero Moda in Athlone Towncentre, and third place was a tie between Michele McDonagh who won a voucher for Wineport Lodge in Glasson and Amie Kerrigan who won a voucher for Fashion Followers.
All the other finalists walked away with gift vouchers from Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes; Ultimate Image; Enna’s Hair Salon; VIP Hair Studio; The Beauty Rooms; Grand Hotel in Moate; The Restaurant at Dun Na Si; and The Pantry, and all girls received a month’s free admission to Club S.
