Always proud and willing to assist sporting clubs within the local community, the Bank of Ireland branch at Athlone IT supported Athlone Gymnastics Club in a recent fundraising campaign.
Athlone Gymnastics Club is a lively and dedicated club that is run on a voluntary basis. The main aim of the club is to provide both competitive and recreational training to children and increase the opportunities to participate in gymnastics as a general sport and aid in their development and wellbeing through related activities.
The annual Athlone Gymnastics Club summer camps are imminent, with camps open to boys and girls aged six and over before the camp date. Both members and non-members are welcome with no experience necessary.
Camps will be run under the direction of the club’s New Director of Gymnastics, Elisha, along with a team of dedicated coaches.
Young gymnasts can expect something new, fun and exciting from the activity laden camp!
The summer camps will run for five weeks, an initial three weeks in July and a further two camps in August, from 9.30-1pm.
