New outdoor play area opened at Treasure Island pre-school

Treasures Island pre-school, Arcadia Court, Athlone owned and managed by Bernie Egan, had a recent special opening of the pre-school’s new outdoor play area. The pre-school was granted funding through the Childcare Capital Programme which provides funding for the creation of natural outdoor play.

This natural enhanced space provides the children with great opportunities to develop their skills and learn about risk and challenges in a natural and safe environment.

Local Senator, Gabrielle McFadden, officially opened the new play area this week, creating great excitement among the children with banners, balloons, and ribbons.

Bernie and her staff of Sinead, Julie and Ann are delighted with the addition of the new facility with the children thoroughly enjoying the new equipment which can be used in all weather conditions.
