The all-new Kia e-Niro and Kia e-Soul have just gone on sale, and with demand looking like exceeding supply, those interested need to act fast.
The e-Niro is the first fully electric crossover utility vehicle produced by Kia joins the familiar returning Soul, but this time as high tech electric model.
With a range of 455 kilometres on the WLTP combined cycle, the all-electric e-Niro combines driving enjoyment, eye-catching design, crossover utility and a zero-emissions powertrain – to create one of the most capable electric vehicles on-sale worldwide.
And not to be outdone, the e-Soul arrives with a range of 452kms and is more distinctive, dynamic and innovative than ever. Whilst available with ICE power plants globally, in Europe the 3rd generation Soul will be powered in Europe exclusively by electric energy.
e-Niro
The e-Niro occupies a unique position in the market as an all-electric crossover, with intelligent packaging, high practicality, and a long-distance driving range. Buyers will also benefit from a range of dedicated electric vehicle (EV ) in-car technologies, new safety features, and stand-out exterior and interior design.
The new e-Niro joins existing Plug-in Hybrid variant of the car, which it says is Ireland’s best selling PHEV.
Kia Motors Ireland are marketing one generously equipped trim level for e-Niro with a choice of either mid range or long range power plants .e-Niro with the mid range power plant ( 35kw/289kms ) sells at €33,495. including VRT relief and grants, with long range version (64kw/455 kms ) with same reliefs costing €37,495.
Both models come with the same generous package of styling, comfort and technology features including 17” alloy wheels, leather upholstery, heated front seats and steering wheel,7” inch screen featuring Android Auto/Apple Car Play and Tom Tom navigation.
Safety features include LKAS, ‘Smart Cruise Control’, ‘Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist’ and autonomous emergency braking.
e-Soul
Kia Motors Ireland is offering the e-Soul with two trims and just the long range (64kw/452kms ) powerplant .Both trim levels are generous both featuring 10.25” touchscreen AV/Nav display and 7” supervision cluster and safety features including ‘Lane Keep Assist’, ‘Smart Cruise Control’ and ‘Front Collison Avoidance’. Additional features on the K2 include full leather trim, Harmon Kardon sound system, heads-up display and ‘Blind Spot Detection’. The K2 comes on the market at €35,995 and the K3 at €37,495 bott prices including VRT relief and government grants.
