A successful and well attended race night, with the funds raised going towards the progressive work of the Athlone branch of the Inland Waterways Association of Ireland and Athlone RNLI was held at the Lough Ree Inn on Saturday night last.
The contributions of those present at the event on the night enabled a sum of €2,600 to be raised, which will be equally divided between the two worthy causes.
