The Dean Crowe Theatre will host a collaborative performance from St Hilda's services and RehabCare adult day services this Friday, February 15, as they unite with their second performance 'One Love' which aims to explore the love of life through the art of drama and dance.
This joint production which brings two fantastic organisations together to form the group 'One Tribe' has over 40 participants across the two services who have a passion for the performing arts. In conjunction with the Dean Crowe and aided with funding from Creative Ireland, 'One Tribe' took to the stage for the first time in Christmas 2017 and was very well received by everyone in attendance.
There was no doubt after this first shows success that there was a huge opportunity for this group to grow not only in confidence but in stature. Since mid-October last year 'One Tribe' began rehearsing for its next production 'One Love'every Wednesday in the Dean Crowe Theatre and the energy and passion each week is has resulted in an immensely creative show.
With the help of Attitude Dance and Stage School, Sandy Hughes and staff from both services, not to mention the fantastic hospitality from the Dean Crowe Theatre, this promises to be a night not to be missed.
Tickets are available for €10 and can be purchased online at http://www.deancrowetheatre.com or from the Dean Crowe box office. We would encourage everyone to come and support this great community initiative and we promise you will not be disappointed.
