The dulcet tones of American singer/songwriter Jim Page are soon to waft through the Prince of Wales Hotel at an Athlone Folk Club hosted performance this Thursday, January 31, at 9pm.
A singer songwriter in the vein of Woody Guthrie and Bob Dylan, Page is rated in the top fifty most influential songwriters of all time in Seattle.
Irish Celtic rock band, Moving Hearts, have made his material a lynchpin of their performances and with a vocal delivery par excellence, Page will leave you with a live music experience to remember.
Jim continues to write and to perform and to experiment with form and ensemble, and his songs continue to be pertinent and expressive of our times.
