Gardai have arrested a person in connection with a drugs raid on Connaught Street on December 7 last.
A local man in his 50s was arrested, detained and charged with possession of cocaine worth €2k with intent to sale and supply. He is due to appear in court with regard to the offence.
On the same night, in a separate incident, Gardai completed a detailed search of a property in Monksfield, Monksland and located cocaine to the value of €4k. Investigations are ongoing pertaining to this particular issue.
