Local Fine Gael Councillor John Dolan has welcomed the resurfacing works on the Tully Road in Baylin following continuous consultation with residents in the area.
“I had been contacted by several local people about the dangerous state of this road which had deteriorated during the dry weather in the summer. However, this was made even worse when the contractors started laying the new gas piping.”
Following a route analysis with local engineer, John Brophy, the Westmeath County Caouncil Cathaoirleach is noticeable satisfied with the completed works.
“I drove the road with the local engineer, John Brophy, and he committed to doing a full resurface of the road when the pipe laying was completed. I have to commend the job done and this busy road is now back to full and safe use again.” Cllr. Dolan concluded.
