The Westmeath Division of An Garda Siochana will host a number of community meetings at the end of September and start of October.
The meetings will be attended by highly ranked officers from the local Garda units with the Divisional Crime Prevention Officer, Sergeant Paddy Guinan also be in attendance.
The aim of the meetings will be to provide communities with an opportunity to engage with representatives of An Garda Siochana’s management team in the Westmeath Division and to obtain crime prevention advice, as well as be informed about policing initiatives which will take place in the Division as part of An Garda SIochana’s winter safety campaign.
The Moate and Glasson communities meeting will be held in the Grand Hotel, Moate, on Thursday, October 4 at 7pm, with further informative gatherings to be announced in the coming weeks.
