Ireland’s Got Curves Unlimited Edition set for Prince Bar

Everyone wears clothes, yet does the fashion world address this issue in its entirety?

'Irelands Got Curves' is a curvy convention and is bringing an UNLIMITED EDITION to the Prince Bar on Sunday, September 30 from 1-5pm, in the process raising funds for Special Olympics Ireland, as well as welcoming some of the athletes to join the models on the catwalk.

Unlimited showcasing of sizes 6-36 on the catwalk and with pop up stands available on the day including a fabulous bridal selection, headpieces, smart and casual clothing and for the first time at 'Irelands Got Curves', a menswear selection.

As well as guest speakers, demonstrations and entertainment, 'Irelands Got Curves The Unlimited Edition' will be a fantastic not to be missed fundraiser. Special Olympics Ireland is celebrating its 40th year this year and enriches the lives of adults and children with an intellectual disability throughout Ireland.

Organiser Sharon D is encouraging local businesses to get involved saying, "normally this event takes place in Dublin and this time we are in the heart of Athlone at the Prince Bar and Hotel. Let's put Athlone on the map and showcase all local businesses also. Everyone is welcome to get in touch and please get involved."

After modeling in London at a curvy convention, Sharon saw a need for this type of event in Ireland in a final word said, "come along and enjoy no matter what size or shape you are, we certainly don't have a measuring tape at the door and everyone is welcome. This is a fun and empowering day out celebrating the beauty in everyone. Promoting self love can help so much with both physical and mental health".

'Irelands got curves The Unlimited Edition' takes place on Sunday, September 30 from 1-5pm at The Prince Bar and Hotel. Tickets are just €5 and available from Eventbrite with limited tickets on sale at the door. For more info call 087 7867397.
