Coffee morning for the South Westmeath hospice returns

A coffee morning aimed to raise much needed funds for the South Westmeath Hospice and homecare service will take place on Thursday, September 20.

Returning for its 26th year, the annual event has, to date, garnered over €35 million in fundraising monies throughout the country. This year it is hoped that Ireland’s biggest coffee morning for Hospice Together, in association with Bewley’s, will raise a much needed €2 million for local hospice and homecare services nationwide, to meet with growing demands for the service.

Speaking ahead of the coffee morning, Karen Cunningham, Director of the South Westmeath Hospice said, “funds raised through Ireland’s biggest coffee morning go a long way in delivering the services of the South Westmeath Hospice, both in the facility and through our homecare services. These funds help us meet the needs of our patients. We hope lots of people and businesses get involved and host coffee mornings in aid of the South Westmeath Hospice.”
