Whizz Kids summer camp returns to AIT

Great news for any kids or teens interested in computers & technology - WhizzKids Summer Camps will be back in Athlone Institute of Technology (AIT ) this summer.

Listed in the Sunday Times ‘Best Summer Camps’ features every year, WhizzKids Summer Camps have seen a meteoric rise in popularity since they first started in 2003. The Whizzkids camp at AIT will run from July 23 to 27, with full day or half day options available to children.

Children love the cool tech skills they learn, such as animation, web Design, video game programming, 3D design and a host of other IT skills close to their hearts. From a parents’ point of view, the classes are educational and run by experienced instructors in top class facilities. It is not just sitting at a PC all day either as there are sports activities every day and their unique spy academy has the kids solving puzzles and having fun.

The camps are open to 8 – 15 year olds, with three distinct courses for different age groups (8-10s, 11-12s and 13-15s ). No experience is required.

On top of their busy summer camp schedule, WhizzKids work with over 80 schools nationwide during term time so they have a very experienced and dedicated team of teachers.

Be warned though - camps sell out every year so book early to avoid disappointment.
