In what was a thrilling encounter, Coláiste Chiaráin and Mount Sion took to the field in Clonshaugh, Dublin, last Wednesday, April 11.
While the teams were level at one goal a piece at half-time, Coláiste Chiaráin emerged the much stronger side following the break.
The local Athlone school scored two goals in the second half to seal a convincing win.
This year’s Connacht champions now march to the final, with the date and venue yet to be decided.
The management, staff and students from the school have wished the team and their manager Mr Barry Cuneen every success in the final.
