Female entrepreneurs and budding businesswomen from Westmeath, Longford, Laois and Offaly took part in one of the largest-ever programme of events for National Women’s Enterprise Day recently.

Female entrepreneurs and budding businesswomen from across the Midlands region counties - Westmeath, Laois, Longford, and Offaly are being encouraged to ‘Empower Business Together’ and register for this year’s National Women’s Enterprise Day after the line up for the event was announced.

Research has shown that Irish women’s belief in their ability to run a successful business is continuing to grow as this year’s National Women’s Enterprise Day (NWED) is launched in Galway. The initiative of the Local Enterprise Offices, now in its 16th year, will take place on the 13th October with the aim of encouraging female entrepreneurship and supporting women in business across the country.
