The people of Carlow and Kilkenny have been urged to submit nominations for an awards ceremony celebrating multi-culturalism and diversity in Irish Society.

 Mayo Intercultural Action, a voluntary organisation that provides support to the county’s immigrant population, is in the running to receive one of this year’s Media and Multicultural Awards (MAMAs). The MAMAs, now in their seventh year, recognise the people, groups, companies, institutions and media platforms that promote diversity and multiculturalism in Ireland and the awards ceremony will take place in Dublin on Thursday November 27.
