The bookies had made Carrickshock favourites, it was a tag that surprised many locals, one can only assume that the odds compiler wasn't aware of the city men's experience and fighting spirit. For the next three years St Canice’s Kilkenny Credit Union, the largest community based credit union in Ireland, will be renewing its sponsorship of the GAA Senior County Championship, the winners of which in the past year have won the All-Ireland Club Championship.
