Be a good egg in the kitchen this Easter and think before you pour!

Clean Coasts and Uisce Éireann are urging you to be a good egg in the kitchen this Easter and help the environment in the process.

No grease lightning - think before you pour to protect the environment

Starting with a commitment this Christmas season, Clean Coasts, in partnership with Irish Water, is appealing to all budding chefs, home cooks and most importantly the washer-uppers in Westmeath and the Midlands region to ' Think Before You Pour' any fats, oils or greases (FOGs) down the kitchen sink.

‘Rethink the sink’ this Easter

This Easter, Clean Coasts in partnership with Irish Water is partnering with JP McMahon to ask the people of Galway to ‘rethink the sink’ and never pour fats, oils, and greases (FOGs) from the Easter roast down the sink. Instead, collect FOGs into a heatproof container (egg cartons, tins and jars are egg-cellent choices), allow them to cool, and empty into the bin.
