Loughrea’s Chanelle Pharma sold to leading international private equity firm
One of Ireland’s most successful companies, Chanelle Pharma has been sold by its founder Michael H Burke to Exponent, a leading private equity firm. Headquartered in Loughrea, Chanelle Pharma is Ireland’s largest indigenous manufacturer of generic pharmaceuticals for animal and human health. The terms of the sale have not been disclosed.
Arkphire grows operating profit to €4.6 million on turnover of €90 million
Irish owned IT services and networking company, Arkphire, has reported an operating profit of €4.6 million on sales amounting to €90.1 million for the 12 month period ended 30 June 2018. These results represent another strong performance for the business with profits growing from €2,723,265 to €4,602,144 in 2018 and turnover up 22% compared to the previous year.
