The Department of Education and Science have confirmed to the Fine Gael Leader that they will shortly be signing a contract with a new internet service provider. Once the contract is signed, it is expected that it will take six to eight weeks to complete. This will entail the provision of a new mobile broadband facility that will provide 1MB per second broadband in comparison to the much smaller capacity already available at the school.
