A Galway-based painter who bought her first computer in the early noughties, discovered the Painting A Day movement - and kickstarted her professional career as an artist.

Pam Dolan, born and reared in Crossmolina, Co Mayo, is a contemporary visual artist, living and working in Galway. Having graduated with distinction from GMIT in 1987, Pam’s work was chosen, and she was invited to exhibit in Australia as part of their Bicentennial celebrations and she spent two years there exhibiting, working and travelling.

A Galway-based artist, who was recently honoured by the Irish Chinese community, will exhibit colourful new work at Ireland’s premier art fair Art Source, which will be held at the RDS from November 9-11.
