Twenty-four students have received NUI Galway student sports scholarships at a special ceremony this week.

The Irish women’s junior 8 rowing team which won gold in Cardiff at the Home Countries International Regatta, beating England, Scotland, and Wales. Galway boasted seven rowers on the team.
