Macnas will be bringing their magic to the Galway St Patrick’s Day Parade on Sunday 17th March. Macnas Artistic Director is delighted to showcase next generation Macnas. The Macnas drumming troupe aged 15 -19 which will be led, under the stewardship of Éimhín Cradock and Debbie Wright, will perform a celebration of the dance between shadow and light to the city streets. 

Out Of The Wild Sky, the 2018 Macnas parade, which promises to unleash "a world that is hypnotic and intoxicating, glittering, mysterious, and filled with shadow and nobility," upon Galway streets, takes place at the end of next month.

The Macnas Young Ensemble has received a significant boost with the announcement of sponsorship for the ensemble, which has 45 members, by the Connacht Hospitality Group.

More than 44,000 people are expected to line the streets of the city this Sunday to see Savage Grace, this year's Macnas Halloween Parade, and the public is encouraged to wear fancy dress and enjoy the wild and ghoulish fun of it all.
