I think it is fair to say no one would have predicted what happened in game week four of the Premier League. Champions Liverpool were thumped 7-2 by Aston Villa, Man United were smashed 6-1 by Spurs at Old Trafford, and Leeds earned a point against Man City. What a weekend it was.

Another round of the Premier League has come and gone and a clear picture is already developing. Liverpool look the team to beat as they swept aside 10 men Chelsea in south west London on Sunday, West Brom and Fulham look certain to go straight back down after defeats to Everton and Leeds respectively, and Ole Gunnar Solskjær looks set for another tough season as Man United fell to a disappointing 3-1 home defeat to Crystal Palace.

Round one of the Premier League is done and dusted and we got good value from our eight games with 23 goals scored. There were no shocks on the opening weekend as Fulham and West Brom fell to 3-0 defeats to Arsenal and Leicester City respectively with Chelsea securing three points away to Brighton.

The Premier League came back with a bang last weekend.

It is all becoming a little clearer now that all sides have played 35 matches. Champions Man City are still keeping challengers Liverpool at arms length in the title race, Spurs and Chelsea are in pole position for the Champions League, and it is between Brighton and Cardiff who will be the final side to tumble out of the division and into the Championship.

Round four has come and gone and for many Fantasy managers, it was a weekend to forget as defences were leakier than a sieve and big money signings failed to bring home the bacon.

And so round 27 of the Premier League came to an end with champions Chelsea getting back to winning ways over bottom of the table West Brom.

We are back to Premier League action this weekend after cup duty ended on Wednesday night with a 0-0 snoozefest between Chelsea and Arsenal in west London.
