UV rays are at their strongest between 11am and 3pm, so take to the shade as much as possible between these times. Use natural shade or a parasol. One of the simplest things you can do is to protect against UV is to cover up. Wear a top with a collar, three-quarter length sleeves and three-quarter length trousers. Tightly woven fabrics let fewer UV rays through, but stretched fabrics give less protection so wear loose-fitting clothes.
