Mayo glass artist Laura Quinn is this year's recipient of the RDS Irish Craft Bursary 2022.

Glass artist Laura Quinn, originally from Mayo and now based in the UK, has been awarded by the Design & Crafts Council Ireland (DCCI) Future Makers programme.

Flora Lucida, a beautiful exhibition of glass sculptures by Mayo artist Emma Bourke, is currently on show at the Linenhall Arts Centre in Castlebar. Emma’s artistic practice is inspired by the natural environment in the west of Ireland, and the wild flowers and plants that populate the countryside. Captivated by these enchanting plants, she creates collections of these wild flowers out of glass, eternally capturing their beauty.

An exhibition celebrating Irish women working in the medium of hot glass has opened at the Glass Attic Gallery, Jerpoint Glass Studio in County Kilkenny.
